- LRC XC is open to all youth between ages of 2 to 14
- both individual and age group team competition are emphasized
- Practice equipment
- new running shoes (check with Coach Darcy for guidance)
- lightweight running shorts and shirt for warm weather running
- appropriate gear for cold weather running (e.g. sweatshirt, tights, hat, and gloves)
- water bottle containing water or sport drink for every practice and meet
- League meets
- league season runs from mid-August through the end of October
- usually held on Sundays with the course walks typically beginning at 12:30 PM
- Post season competition runs through the end of November
- Regional and National age group competition
- Age groups and race distances for league meets – age as of 12/31/2012
